The developmental work of the Center for Continuing Education grows from an ongoing dialogue with educational researchers. We are aiming for the improvement of the quality of provision and for sustainability in the sense of gaining new insight, understanding and knowledge resulting from everyday practice combined with reflection with researchers. This Conference has given us the opportunity to promote the next generation of educational researchers, and at the invitation of the Center for Continuing Education, Anna Wanka, researcher and PhD student at the Department of Sociology, University of Vienna, will participate in the conference.
EUCEN is currently coordinating the EU project IMPLEMENT – Implementing ULLL through training and development –, a project which develops online training courses in “Diversity in LLL”, “Institutional Development”, “Curriculum in partnership”, “Regional Development” and “Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)” for staff working in University Lifelong Learning. This project offers two activities in the afternoon on Thursday 10 May 2012 simultaneously with the EUCEN Conference.
