Vita activa - Linking generations through learning
Our programme "Vita activa" addresses adults of all ages and in particular those individuals who have not been to university and who are not interested in pursuing a degree programme, but who do want to explore the world of knowledge and research. Under the guidance of experts from the University of Graz and partner institutions, a wide range of research topics of general interest to the individual and his environment are presented, examined and discussed. The programme comprises different types of learning settings – from (short) lecture series to workshops and seminars to a summer university.
The development of the Vita activa programme is subsidised by the Austrian Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Consumer Protection, and by the Ministry of Science and Research.
