Lecture Series “Der Islam in Österreich und in Europa”
The Islamic Religious Community of Graz for Styria and Carinthia, in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education and the Institute of International Law and International Relations of the University of Graz, organised from 2005-2008 a series of lectures entitled “Der Islam in Österreich und in Europa: Die Integration und Beteiligung der Muslime und Musliminnen in der Gesellschaft” [Islam in Austria and Europe: Integration and Participation of Muslims in Society].The goal was to provide a forum for communication and exchange of ideas, in order to promote a better understanding of each other and for each other, leading to a better future for the inhabitants of Austria.
